Experiential learning is one of the best ways to explore and retain challenging subjects. Since A Farm For Annie attracts so many professionals from all walks of life—police officers to writers, psychologists to accountants—we are able to offer a broad range of high-quality educational programs on almost any subject, while incorporating interaction with our horses. What is it like to be a mounted police officer? How can we use observation to write with more detail about horses and beyond? What can horses teach us about our own psychology? And how does math play a role in farm life? Various subjects come to life through our programs, and the horses help make those subjects more fun and memorable. 

With all of the AFFA educational programs, our aim is to combine the caring and nurturing of horses as a metaphor for the caring and nurturing of ourselves, our families, and our communities.
